A car is freedom, a gateway to a career, access to groceries, a space for conversation, and a legacy for future generations.
What We Do
We take in donated cars and perform any necessary mechanical work and maintenance. Once the vehicles are revived, we give them away to people who don’t have a reliable means of transportation in the Richmond, Virginia area.
Why We Do It
We love fixing cars, and we love helping people! Almost 25% of the Richmond population lives in poverty, and over 60% of those living in poverty don’t have a vehicle. That makes getting to a job, school, or the grocery store extremely difficult.
Giving a family a car can be the jumpstart they need to revive their livelihood.
